How can I open a UK small business bank account as a non resident?
I am starting a new business in the UK that will initially for the 1st year be online. I need to form a new company with a bank account and a couple of formation companies have quoted 500 pounds for them to open the bank account for me as I am a non UK resident and will not live there. It seems a bit much to pay. Does anyone know a bank that will provide me with an account regardless of status. I do not need a loan just an account where the payments will go into,
thanks in advance
Dear Mike, good luck for your new business, where ever you come from you must have got bank from your country one which is easiest way to open an account bcose bank need reference here such as building, apartment, shops or house where you going to do business from under your name or you working here then you can opene your account here othere wise you have no choice except one which could be your partner who got bank account here

Beware of Advance fee Loan scams.
ALL “Private Lenders” who ask for fees upfront are scammers…
My Advice: Don’t deal with anyone from a foreign country and never use wire/bank transfer services.. You risk losing your $$ and your mind.
LOAN SCAM – Do Not Pay UpFront Fees.
Do not send money UpFront via Western Union or MoneyGram to any person or business in the UK, Nigeria or Canada in hopes of getting a loan. If you do you will learn a hard lesson & never see any Loan money.
Remember, if it sounds too good
to be true, it probably is! NEVER give out your personal information to those crooks!Always be on guard.
