Anybody here delt with freegrantsearch.com?
It’s called free but you pay $2.99 for shipping and handling. Did you get your moneys worth? What was your outcome? Did they help you find government funding? The program costs $39.95 a month thereafter. You also agree to the 14 day and 21 day bonus trials to Express Business Funding™ and Network Agenda™ for $7.95 a month and $9.95 a month thereafter? Did you cancel or continue their program after the 7 day trial? If you canceled the contract was it easy enough to cancel or was it nest to impossible?
Al total ripoff. Go to http://www.grants.gov for a list of government grants and how you can apply for them. However, there are no grants for a for profit business unless you are opening a daycare and then it is a minimal amount. If you need money, you will need to apply for a loan. No lender will talk to you unless you provide them with a valid business plan. Go to http://www.sba.gov , http://www.score.org or http://www.bplan.com for sample business plans and instructions on how to write a business plan.
Then, go to http://www.score.org/ and in the upper left hand corner, enter your zip code. On the next screen, you will get information on the nearest SCORE chapter. Call them and arrange for a free meeting with a SCORE counselor to review your business plan and discuss various loan options available to you.
SCORE is a nonprofit association dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation, growth and success of small business nationwide. SCORE is a resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).
SCORE has 389 chapters in locations throughout the United States and its territories, with 10,500 volunteers nationwide. Both working and retired executives and business owners donate time and expertise as business counselors.
Would you consider buying your under-5 a jigsaw with a Biblical theme?
I’m looking at setting up a business producing jigsaw puzzles with Biblical and Christian themes, or with non-religious images painted by Christian artists. The plan is to begin trading with a range of children’s wooden, 20-piece jigsaws but before I can acquire business funding I need to perform some market research to see if there is sufficient interest to sustain the business concept. In the event that we decide to commit and begin trading, the best answer will receive a special 20% discount on his or her first order.
We also plan to introduce a range of 1000-piece card jigsaws using new works from Christian artists. If you also have the time to express an opinion on this product concept, it would be appreciated.
I would never buy that for my kids.. No offense.
However my fiances mother buys our son things like that all the time.. As well as pretty much all the women in her church buy things of that nature and give them away as prizes and such to the kids..
Honestly .. If the ONLY product your offering is a 20 piece christian themed jigsaw puzzle.. Then i dont think youll make it.. You will have to VASTLY broaden your business..
I think that you can probally have a very sucessful booth at the mall though.. Just one of the little spots in the middle ya know..
Best of luck
How do I Make American Express Pay For My Stolen Travelers’ Cheques?
My Cheques were purchased in the United States at my local bank. I have followed ALL the requirements printed on the slips which came with the cheques. AMEX simply will not address the issue. My claim has not been denied, nor paid. The $8000 in AMEX TC’s were stolen in May 2006. Last June I discovered the UNOFFICIAL WEBSITE FOR AMEX. I was horrified at what I learned. Evidently, AMEX is famous for not paying. I know, in my case, most likely, AMEX never paid anyone.
I have been to an attorney. At first, he believed all he needed to do was write a letter. After seeing the information above, he demanded a retainer. I cannot afford to pay over half of my stolen funds for a “maybe” I will get paid.
I have also gone to my state’s attorney general office. They cannot help me. Since I admitted to the AG’s office, I was going to use the funds to buy artwork to sell in the USA, I am a business. I have lost my status as a consumer.
Any sugestions out there?
iI HAVE ALREADY GONE TO MY BANK. THEY COULD CARE LESS. THE BANK’S ONLY WAY TO CONTACT AMEX IS THROUGH THE SAME TELEPHONE # I HAVE. Who do I keep calling? I have called Amex too many times. I have lost track of my E-mails. As far as AMEX is concerned I believe I do not exist.
File a claim in Small Claims Court. Most states have been increasing their upper limits for claims, and you might be surprised how high it is in your state.
You’ll need a physical address to serve documents to Amex. To do that, contact a local process server and ask for their advice. You have to do this part accurately, so take as much time as you need and do it right.
I’ve filed Small Claims cases against corporations (and won). Nothing difficult about it. Have all of your facts and documentation available and present it clearly and quickly to the judge (they tend to get impatient because of the backlog of cases).
There’s a very good chance Amex will be in touch with you to settle long before anyone gets to court.
Best of success.
